We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter holiday. We are so excited to share one of our most challenging projects to date. One of our amazing clients asked us to create several “jumbo all edible” Easter eggs for them.
This project started nearly 4 months ago- where we had to get a custom (giant) chocolate mold created just for us. Once this was delivered, we then had to play with the proper recipe of pure Belgian tempered chocolate, in order to ensure the egg itself was strong enough to hold its own weight (nearly 50 pounds when finished).
After several broken layers, and countless attempts- we finally got the recipe right and created these monster eggs. The most difficult challenge was getting the eggs assembled (from 2 halves to one solid piece), and then packaged for transportation. We’re happy to report all eggs made it safely (in one piece) to their recipients. Looking back we have such a sense of accomplishment for taking on this task and delivering as promised for the client. Thanks to our amazing team and chocolate manufacturers for their support along this path- we couldn’t have done it without you!
In addition to the jumbo chocolate eggs- we also provided several custom and fully edible printed shortbread cookies for them to enjoy (inside the eggs and also in baskets).
